Sedona & The Grand Canyon 2016

Sedona has that magic that just pulls you back. After visiting for my 60th birthday in 2014 I had to return again! This time I spent one night at the Grand Canyon so I could get sunrise and sunset photos. I'm still in the process of going through and editing my pics, but I'll share a few that are done. If you've never been, put it on your bucket list. You won't regret it! Views from Sky Ranch Lodge where we stayed. Grand Canyon Sunset Grand Canyon Sunrise Cathedral Rock

Easter Pics

HaPpy Easter! I ordered a backdrop frame and a few indoor lights, giving me more options for winter photo shoots.  Of course they arrived the night before my planned shoot, not giving me much time to learn about the equipment or techniques. But what did I have to lose?  I'm always one to jump in both feet so with the help of my beautiful little 18-month old model . . .  I jumped! The white muslin backdrop was a little wrinkled and my Steam Buddy wasn't doing much of anything to help so I hung a turquoise blanket over it and used some bokeh presets in LightRoom in post processing. Here are some of my favorites from the shoot.  Mommy and I were questioning if we got 2 or 3 good ones, but I was very pleased with the results and the final pics.

February 2016 Key West Adventures

The Snow Queen turned in the snow for some sand and headed to Key West for a week. The Camera Queen had a great time and came home with some awesome photos. Key West is known for it's sunsets at Mallory Square, but I captured some sunrises at Smathers Beach, Sunsets from Sunset Pier and some wildlife as well! I am updating my website and you can view it at http://bevtabetphoto.wix.com/bevtabetphoto I will have it switched over to bevtabetphoto.com soon.
